Q. What is a Teleclass?
A. The teleclass is a one hour long interactive workshop
conducted via telephone conference call. You don't need any special equipment to
participate - just a standard telephone.
Q. What happens during the
teleclass?
A. After one ring, you will be automatically connected to the
conference call (if you come too early, it will continue to ring without being answered).
You will be greeted by the moderator as you enter the
classroom and be asked to introduce yourself. You will have an opportunity to introduce
yourself to the group and tell us a little bit about yourself as well.

Q. What number
should I dial?
A. At the top of your confirmation letter is a
telephone
number. When you dial that number, you're automatically in the classroom. All participants
dial the same telephone number at the scheduled time and connect automatically with the
rest of the group.
Q. Why do I pay a long distance
charge?
You pay for the call because it is your way to arrive there - just as you
would pay for the gas to drive to a seminar in your home town.
OrganizedTimes doesn't profit
from your phone call in any way. There are no hidden charges, only the charge from your
own long distance provider (which should be no more than 10 dollars if you live in the
US. By the way, I have to pay for my own connection too!
A few rules to ensure a pleasant experience for
all teleconference participants:
1. Please use a standard telephone for the teleconference,
rather than a cell phone or speakerphone. The interference is amplified and can ruin the connection
for the other users.
2. Please refrain from eating or chewing gum during the class since this,
too, can be amplified and really distracting to the other students.
3. Prior to joining the
class, disconnect the "call waiting" feature on your line if you
have it so that others (and yourself) are not interrupted by clicks from waiting callers.
I understand that instructions for this are listed in the front of most telephone books,
or call your local phone provider in advance for the specifics. (it's usually disconnected
by dialing *70 on your telephone)
4. Tip: jot down a few questions you have before the
teleclass, and bring
them to class with you. This will ensure you won't forget to ask in the excitement of the
seminar. We'll try to answer all your questions, and have reserved a time slot for this at
the session's end.
5. Lastly, and most importantly, relax and have fun. This is a great
opportunity to ask those nagging questions you've been dying to ask. And it's a good way
to connect with others who face the same organizing challenges as you, networking at its
best.
I hope this answers all the questions you may have about this exciting
event. Please don't hesitate to contact me for cancellations, rescheduling, or any other
questions you may have. "See you" in class!
